Welcome to Quinta Alto da Serra
Quinta Alto da Serra is a small wine and ecotourism project that we, Joana Roque do Vale and Luis Soares Duarte, have been developing since 2015.
Over the course of four years, we bought small plots of land, managing to gather 7 hectares in the highest spot in the entire parish (610 m), an “abandoned” place, pure and natural, where the greatest wealth is, and will always be, the local nature and our nature.
The main motto is to protect, regenerate, recycle, learn, and give back.
It will always be a simple and minimalist project, in which we want everyone who visits us to find themselves again.
Since 2015, in Alto da Serra, we have been learning to deal with minimalist and regenerative agriculture, with colors, smells, flavors, textures, and sounds. Learning to deal with and know how to raise chickens, sheep, and dogs, all of Portuguese breeds. Bees. In short, living and learning, so that we can share as many experiences as possible with those who visit us.
